Issues with your heart health or cardiovascular system can impact your overall health if left untreated.
At Cardiocare Clinic, we use cutting-edge technology for cardiac diagnostics and imaging, which allows our skilled cardiologists to detect underlying problems and plan effective treatments.
Cardiac Diagnostics
These tests provide detailed information about the structure and functioning of your heart and blood vessels, helping us determine the causes of various cardiovascular issues.
When your doctor orders a diagnostic test, you can trust our experienced and board-certified cardiology team to provide the expert evaluation and recommendations for the treatment you need, using state-of-the art equipment. With convenient appointment times and quick test results, we’re ready to get you the care you need when you need it.
Cardiac Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures
Our facility offers a comprehensive range of imaging and diagnostic procedures that can help evaluate your cardiac health and diagnose underlying issues. These procedures can also aid in precise treatment planning. Some of our cardiac diagnostic procedures include:
Echocardiogram:
Non-invasive technique uses ultrasound waves to create detailed images of the heart, real-time images can help assess the structure and function of the heart, allowing us to diagnose various heart issues.
Stress testing:
This test determines how well your heart functions under physical activity or exertion; it assists in evaluating heart function and diagnosing coronary artery disease.
Nuclear treadmill test:
Combining nuclear imaging with a stress test, this procedure assesses blood flow to the heart; it reveals blood flow abnormalities and areas of reduced perfusion.
Angiogram:
In this test, we visualize blood flow within the arteries or veins using imaging techniques; the injection of a contrast dye helps us evaluate blood flow in different areas of the body.
Tilt table test:
It is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure that can assist in diagnosing causes of unexplained fainting or dizziness. It also helps differentiate between cardiac and non-cardiac causes.
Cardiac CT angiogram (CCTA):
This test combines computed tomography (CT) imaging with contrast dye to generate high-resolution images of coronary arteries. It evaluates plaque buildup and stenosis in coronary arteries.
Cardiac MRI:
Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides detailed scans of the heart; we can use it to assess the heart’s function and diagnose issues like cardiomyopathies and congenital defects.
Loop recorder:
It is a small device which is implanted under the skin to monitor heart rate over an extended period, with this device, we can diagnose heart rhythm irregularities (arrhythmias) and plan treatments accordingly.
